The course of true event planning....

So, all things have been going pretty well.

Given that our celebrant had the dates confused and our photographer cancelled, it is pretty much part for the course.

So we've sorted that out.  Now its time to send out the invites.

If you haven't had a chance to update your details - please do so, and the invite will be winging its way to you as soon as.

I had a chance to take some location shots for my new photographer - they look pretty great.  Of course it was done on the hottest day of the year so some of the smiles are definitely fake!

The light is pretty much the same as our party day, so should be great.

Don't forget that although it might be warm during the day, it will def be cool/cold in the evening, so remember your warm clothes!

Enjoy.

These are a few of our favourite things

The way to frighten an event organiser is to say:  Gee its only *blank* months/weeks/years to go!

I have been having conversations around how my planning is going, and to me I feel completely disorganised, but they seem to feel that I have it under control.

So - barring bad weather, Cedar Getters is the location.

Our farm has been in the Brosnan family since 1885/6 - when it was selected for Jack Brosnan.  It has been a logging property for most of that time, particularly for Red Cedar and legend has it that the cedar getters used to camp right in the place where we are to get married.

It was the most comfortable space that could reliably have water and grow *some* things, and it is also where David and I have built our shedhouse.

And even though the ABC has predicted that el nino will break in Feburary/March  we will be under the mountain, then under the marquee, and under the stars to sing, dance, drink and be married.

Excited to see you all there.

Once upon a time

Once upon a time, many moons ago, a boy and a girl met.

He thought she was rude.  She thought he was boring.

Then something changed.  Then they were in love.

Then they travelled together, moved in together, bought a house together, fixed the house together, moved house again, changed jobs, built a house, bought another house, painted, sanded, dug.  Plastered, plastered, plastered, travelled some more, drank, laughed, danced and loved.

Then one day the boy asked the girl to be his favourite, forever.

She cried and cried some more.  And then she said yes.

And now we are asking all of you to be part of our wedding day, because you are integral to the story so far.
