We had too much time a while ago and not enough time now

Both Davey and I have been very busy getting ready for both our wedding and Davey's overseas trip.

He has done a major pack and shakedown of the bike (Tina) and has now put her in the truck to go to the container that will go to the ship that will arrive in the UK in May.

That has left us with plenty of time to realise exactly how much work is still left to do for the wedding.

We have now officially sent two ride on mowers to the great scrapheap in the sky and have been 'push' mowing the space.  That really is work!

We have taken a trip to IKEA and survived to get the glassware and some other bits and pieces (including the inevitable "glima" tea candles).

We are crossing our fingers for the weather gods.

I promised myself I wouldn't look

Given that pretty much* all I have to do now is be anxious about things, it was only a matter of time until I started obsessing over what the weather *might* be like.

Today I checked the 28 day forecast for the Darling Downs.  I know, I know, they make it very clear that you can't make big decisions based on the information, that it is just a forecast BLAH BLAH BLAH, but come on.

So at the moment it says low chance of rain, but then in the fine print is say high chance of large rain events for the 5 March - 9 March and then from the 14 March - 17 March.

Sounds dicey to me!
